Could AI soon make a big change in the modeling world

Deep Agency, a new company, thinks it could at least make it easier to use by making all the models, scenes, and outfits with AI. Always an important component of metaverse news is fashion.

Danny Postma, an artificial intelligence (AI) startup entrepreneur, has announced the launch of his latest product, Deep Agency, after months of work.

What about Deep Agency?

Deep Agency is an AI-powered photography studio and modeling agency that uses no cameras, actual humans, or physical locations. According to a recent remark from the company’s founder, everything is generated using the most recent text-to-image models for photo creation.

In addition to generating “fake” models, users can upload photos of themselves to generate digital clones that can be displayed in various contexts as models.

The modeling procedure consists of selecting a model, a pose, and a description of the desired scene. Similar to how you can create art with programs such as Midjourney or DALL-E, the AI does all the work from that point on.

If you choose to digitize yourself, the platform requires 20 photos from which it will create a virtual twin of you in approximately 30 minutes. Once generated, the digital twin can be utilized in the same manner as the available models. According to Postma, the technology could be useful for everything from social media content to e-commerce product photography.

While optimistic about its future use cases, Postma disclosed that “things will break” because the product is still in beta. For this reason, Deep Agency is providing a limited launch discount, details of which can be found on their website, as well as a free trial that includes up to 20 photo generations for everyone.

There are still limitations to what AI can do, but examples like Deep Agency demonstrate the technology’s potential to disrupt entire markets, including the creative industry, by making a normally expensive process accessible to the average individual or brand.

Also, AI models make it possible for more people to be included and have their voices heard. One recent example of this is AI artist Malik Afegbua’s Fashion Show for the Seniors. All of the people, scenes, and clothes in the show were made by AI, but many people who saw the images thought they were from a real show.
